Mike’s passion for food and all things culinary runs deep. Growing up in a Jewish family, they did a lot of cooking for Jewish holidays. He was always eager to help his mother and grandparents whenever he could. He learned a valuable lesson at a very young age: the food was what brought the family together for gatherings. His memories from his childhood are woven with a culinary thread;, from his grandmother’s delicious brisket to decadent fare he had the pleasure of tasting around the world. All of the food had a common theme that stirred him up inside; it invoked awe and respect due to its creativity, it created togetherness with the people sharing it, and most importantly, it brought joy and happiness.
From the 5-star steaks and desserts in Israel to the local diner he and his grandfather frequented, Mike found himself awestruck and smitten with all things food! Years later, armed with a spice rack, a culinary degree, and several years in multi-million dollar corporate restaurants, Mike is enthusiastic about bringing those childhood memories to fruition for others. His hunger for success is as high as ever. “I’m in the business of selling smiles and personal memories, that’s it. Let ME create for YOU.

I was able to launch The Cincinnatian, a driven networking organization that connected small businesses around the Cincinnati area with our community. Our flagship operation was Chowdown Cincinnati, a program that connected people in the area with independent restaurants and other food operations, while raising money for charity groups in need. Over the course of the last year, we raised funds for worthy causes, while leveraging social media to create a community of over three thousand customers interacting with those businesses and offering referrals to friends on a regular basis.
